Last week I took out my sister Ashley who frequently acts as my guinea pig and Carena who was my first bride ever to do a trash the dress type session around Calgary. The reason for this session was to encourage my brides or anyone else that was recently married to take out their fabulous dresses one more time and really ROCK it out for the camera with no pressure of the wedding day timeline. Not only is this for wedding dresses but also Grad Dresses or even a cool bridesmaid dress…. anything you’ve spent some money on and most likely will never wear again. It also be up to each individual to decide how far they want to go…. you don’t need to actually “Trash” your dress to get some Stellar shots. For Carena and Ashley we went down to Fish Creek park and then near downtown Calgary…… a little dirt, river water and a bit of garbage was the worst that these dresses were exposed too…. nothing a good dry cleaner couldn’t handle.

All in all it was such a fun day with these 2 girls and I love the shots I got…. plus I’ve already had some inquiries from the 2 preview photos that I had posted on facebook…. Mission accomplished!! :)
